Artistes at SPIC MACAY take the herculean challenge of washing away from our oblivious souls the dust of everyday life, linking our exquisite culture with the youth of our nation, elevating them to a level of serenity and glory, thus forming 'the Eye' of SPIC MACAY.

In the absence of the undying support of our country’s artists, SPIC MACAY wouldn't have survived a single day. Our movement has been lucky to get unstinting support of eminent artists and maestros ever since its inception. These artists not only sustain Indian classical music & dance as the foundation on which the country's 5000-years-old heritage survives but also perform for us as a way of giving back to the society.  

We will always be indebted to the veterans, many of whom are no longer with us, like Ustad Nasir Aminuddin Dagar, Ustad Zia Fariduddin Dagar, Ustad Zia Mohiuddin Dagar, Prof. TN Krishnan, Pt. Birju Maharaj, Ustad Asad Ali Khan, Ustad Bismilla Khan, Pt. Bhimsen Joshi, Pt. Hariprasad Chaurasia, Pt Shiv Kumar Sharma, Smt. Sonal Mansingh & Ustad Amjad Ali Khan, to name a few, who supported us in our early days and continue to do so.

Among the top backbones of SPIC MACAY are educational institutions that come together and help materialize our efforts of reaching out to the youth.

Educational Institutions are the torch bearers that play the role of inculcating the essence of our core values in the psyche of each and every student. SPIC MACAY started it's journey with the support of just IIT Delhi in 1978. However, today SPIC MACAY is happy to partner with thousands of Government schools, rural schools, private and international schools, degree colleges, medical colleges, technical colleges, universities, management institutes, research institutes... thus reaching out to the youth of all backgrounds.

With its vision of reaching all children in the country, today SPIC MACAY is also collaborating with large groups of institutions like Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas, Army schools and other private groups in order to reach to students of all sections of society. SPIC MACAY also pays special emphasis on Govt. Schools in rural areas and forging towards its vision with even more zeal and enthusiasm.

Research shows that people who volunteer often live longer! SPIC MACAY follows this motto of life and strongly believes that volunteerism does make our "long" lives worthy of living.

From coordinating events & artists, managing the venue and stage to managing the shoe rack or the durree; the volunteer is the driving force, the skeleton or should we say, the very life of SPIC MACAY.

Volunteers at SPIC MACAY are self driven individuals who want to give back to the society in terms of the vast heritage we have in store. These volunteers come with a cultural bent of mind and try and reveal the treasures of Indian culture and heritage to the youth. In the process, the volunteers themselves go through a paradigm shift and gradually become a refined individual.

Volunteers are the one who have brought SPIC MACAY to where it is today and is recognized and appreciated by everyone from Govt., Educationists, Corporates and Artists to students across India.

Sponsors are another backbone of SPIC MACAY, without whom the colossal task SPIC MACAY is endeavoring to achieve will not be possible.

Sponsors form an integral part of the SPIC MACAY family and it is because of their large hearts and deep pockets that we have been able to move out of the peripheral limitations of geographical boundaries and have been able to enlighten the world with the richness of the Indian culture.

Knowing that we are essentially a voluntary movement, many of SPIC MACAY's sponsors or other supporters have ended up becoming volunteers themselves and have contributed immensely towards the cause. Many of them have gone an extra mile to ensure that we are able to live up to the promises made to the youth of this country.

Sponsors are one of the strongest pillars of SPIC MACAY on which the entire movement is standing and growing in leaps and bounds with every passing day.
